Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dealbook — the website garagemargin.com and the web app (together, the "Service") — provided by Brite Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Dealbook helps people who buy used or damaged vehicles to repair and resell them. You can record your own deals — what you paid, your expenses and the sale — and see your profit, ROI and days to sell. You can also use a deal calculator: you add photos of a vehicle, a link to a public listing or the listing text, and the Service returns an estimate of the repair cost, a resale value range, a profit calculation and a suggested maximum purchase price. All calculator results are estimates. They are based on the information and photos you provide and on AI analysis, and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not an appraisal, an inspection, financial or investment advice, or a guarantee of any repair cost, sale price or profit. You are responsible for inspecting the vehicle, verifying its condition and ownership documents, and for every purchase and sale decision you make.

Accounts

You need an account to use the web app. Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.

Early access and pricing

The Service is free during early access. We may introduce paid plans later; we will tell you in advance, and you will never be charged unless you explicitly choose a paid plan and complete a separate checkout. We may limit the number of calculator estimates per day to keep the Service available to everyone.

Your content and third-party content

You keep all rights to the photos and information you add. You give us permission to process them (including with AI model providers) only to provide the Service to you. You confirm you have the right to upload them. Listing pages come from third parties; we do not own them, endorse any seller or vehicle, and are not a party to any transaction between you and a seller or buyer.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to access other users' data, no reverse engineering, no automated scraping or resale of the results, and no use of the Service to deceive sellers, buyers or insurers.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brite Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or decisions made based on calculator estimates, including vehicle purchases that lose money. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero during early access).

Changes and closing your account

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page or by email. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms. You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@britetodo.com.
